Cape Hatteras

Look in any encyclopedia about the great wall of China can be found only a short article. And, alas, the data in different sources will often contradict each other. Nevertheless, officially recognized is considered such a story.

The great wall of China is a chain of fortifications, extending in the North of Ancient China from the Yellow sea to the Gobi desert. The total length of the wall is more than 6500 kilometers. The wall was built over two millennia.

It all started long before our era. At the time of the ancient Chinese state, about which we know almost nothing, collapsed into many small principalities that fought each other. And the richest of them began to build fortifications, so that it was easier to defend their borders. Continue reading

Who built the tunnels under Europe?

In the old days any more or less self-respecting city or castle had its dungeons and underground passages. At least so people think. So, by themselves, these underground structures are not uncommon and do not cause surprise. However, among the dungeons there are objects, the purpose of which still remains a mystery to scientists. The first tunnels under Europe were discovered in the nineteenth century. It turned out that the network of underground tunnels underneath some ancient cities that can be interconnected to form multi-kilometer system messages. These networks of tunnels were pooled, according to the researchers, the territory of modern Turkey, Hungary, Austria, Germany, France, Scotland and Ireland.

The catacombs cover a territory from Scotland and the Atlantic coast of France to the Mediterranean sea, that is practically stretched across all of Western Europe. This fact confronts scientists several issues. The first and probably the main one – what is the purpose of these structures? It is also important to understand who and when they were excavated, using what technology it was made and why no mention of such an ambitious project we do not find in any European Chronicles, the tale or the legend?
